How the site works, and answers to the questions we hear most.
Every product gets one overall score out of 5, given by people who actually own it. The dial you see everywhere is the average of those scores. Reviewers tell us how long they've owned the product, so something that looked great in week one but failed in year two shows up honestly over time.
Anyone can rate anonymously — a star rating alone is enough, written reviews are optional. Reviewers with a Rateingo account are marked Registered, and those who have confirmed their email address (or signed in with Google) are marked Verified. A reviewer's country appears with their review, and you can filter every score on the site by country, or by registered reviewers only.
Can't find a product? Search for it, and when nothing matches you'll see a button to submit it. Our team checks every submission, and once approved the product goes live for everyone to rate.
